Gospel Essay Topics - New Testament Essay Topics

Gospel Essay Topics - New Testament Essay TopicsFor anyone planning to take their New Testament essay and pass it from the state of church doctrine to the state of ancient history, they are going to need to have a good grasp on these 2 subjects. All of the items in the bible were written by different people for different reasons. And although we still don't really know the exact reason for the birth of each book in the bible, we do know that almost every one of them was written during the same time period, which is the Greco-Roman era.Scriptures say that the prophets received their teachings from God. They were always after his will, but they had no need to come and tell him personally about it. The writers were more than willing to put that word into the mouth of an angel, but this is what they did with much discretion. Jesus was the inspiration that gave meaning to the words that came down to the prophets.I believe that there were two causes for the birth of the books of the New Te stament. One cause was when Jesus was given the Holy Spirit and the teachings that came from Him. Another cause was when the apostles were changed and were also inspired by the Holy Spirit. These two causes added their own motivation to each book of the Bible. There are many theories as to how these two people became such a big part of the creation of the Scriptures, but I have chosen to believe that they were right there right in front of their audience when Jesus gave them the teachings. We know that these writers wrote with the same passion that came through Jesus. The apostles understood what was coming down from heaven. It wasn't hard for them to add their own personal agendas to what was being spoken to them. They saw in a vision that they would be in their own time, which was after Christ's return, and they wanted to write about this time in the life of Jesus, but they just couldn't say the same thing that was coming from heaven, because they were afraid of getting fired from t heir jobs.Since all of the writings in the New Testament are written from the point of view of the New Testament writers, they are constantly comparing themselves to the men that are already in heaven. They are comparing the teaching that Jesus gave to the people in the early days of the Christian church. They were giving a lot of hints at what He was teaching, but none of them were sure just what that teaching was. This is why you find the New Testament writers quoting from the teachings that were given to them by the New Testament apostles. The church fathers took notes of what the apostles taught in their writings, and they shared their ideas with others. Eventually, these ideas would build on each other until the books of the New Testament came out.Since so many of the scriptures are copied directly from these writings, we are left to wonder what exactly they meant by the things that they wrote. Maybe we can assume that everything is from God's word, but we cannot be sure of anyt hing. After all, it doesn't seem right to take the teachings of Christ at face value, especially when they come from him.
