'Lewis Thomas To Err is Human In the essay, â€Å"To Err is Human”, Lewis Thomas, begins by contrasting the hypothetic infallibility of computers with the human propensity for computer defect. In the essay Lewis explains how we let from our mistakes, he says â€Å"We are built to educate mistakes, coded for error (306). Lewis uses persuasive elements to sway population into his point of view.Thomas writes that when computers suffice an error, they dont know what to do, but if a human delineates an error we can adapt and make the necessary improvements to make the error better or get the full answer. Thomas dry lands that computers are designed to be sodding(a), however, as we all know from personal experiences, computers sometimes do make mistakes.He wherefore goes on to say that computers add do the same as earthly concern, like when people make mistakes they learn from them, he said that if computers could do it they would be even more perfect then stated.
